Artisan Spotlight: Indego Africa

Meet the incredible artisans of Indego Africa! 

Indego Africa is an innovative non-profit and social enterprise. They support cooperatives of artisan women across Rwanda, providing powerful platforms to sell the beautiful goods they create, as well as provide education and business training. Indego's on-the-ground Rwandan staff work closely with the artisans to provide practical, hands-on training in design, quality control, and product management. The impact this type of model has on the community of artisans is tremendous; as each woman is empowered in business with a sustainable, independent income, she and her family break generational cycles of poverty and build stronger, more stable futures.  

100% of Indego's profits go toward funding job skills training for their artisan partners in business management, technology, entrepreneurship, and English and Kinyarwanda literacy.
