We only work with artisan groups who embody the principles laid out by the Fair Trade Federation, whether or not the group has gone through the costly and time-consuming formal certification process.

I'm Caitlin, founder of Zeal Living. Originally from South Africa, I grew up surrounded by African innovation and creativity. I started Zeal Living as a way to connect you to Africa’s most incredible artisans, designers and makers.

My job is not only to source authentic, beautiful, high quality items for you, but also to ensure that the artisan groups we work with maintain the highest possible standard of fair trade ethics. It is critical that the lives of the makers, and the lives of those in their communities, are positively affected by the creation of your Zeal Living goods. After meeting the people behind our brands and hearing their stories, I could not be more proud to introduce you to them and the incredible items they make.
